I was offered the exciting assignment to wireframe the new website and jumped at the opportunity. Inspired by the layouts for Twitch and Cheddar, I created the template complete with copy. Over the years, Fubo Sports has evolved a lot, even going through a rebranding in 2023. Despite all the changes, my template and original copy still stand today.

The Challenge
Find new ways to increase viewership for all the Fubo networks and their content.
Our Solution
My retention manager and I brainstormed out-of-the-box ideas to get more users on the platform to start watching. One of our best was inserting a new email template into the onboarding journey. I wanted it to show off all the networks with a rotating gif and feature content in a way that made it easily swappable. I laid out the email, selected the initial content, and wrote all the copy.

Putting in the Effort
The network team recruited the Fubo marketing team to help increase viewership for their originals and exclusive content. Dedicated emails and email banners were critical, cost-effective executions to get Fubo subscribers to watch more. We also pushed paid acquisition and winback emails for bigger exclusives like the Premier League, BKFC and others.

The channel launched with only a handful of shows, so there was significant demand for fresh ideas to fill out the rest of its lineup. I worked on pitches and writeups for short-form content, programming blocks, and content partnerships.

Working Together for the Win
The CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers are considered one of the most intense, unforgiving paths towards qualifying for the World Cup. My copy direction emphasized that long, grueling road ahead, and I paired it with a design direction inspired by South American street art. My art director shared my vision, and we put together a campaign that had significant visibility for Fubo and contributed record-breaking numbers towards growth and engagement, specifically for the Latino product.
