Despite being the industry standard, free trials as an acquisition tactic were a double-edged sword for Fubo. Users valued the specific content they were coming in for, so sticking around wasn't necessarily part of their plan. It was vital for Fubo's growth goals to create and execute a strategy that kept users engaged through their trial and deep into their paid subscription. I worked with the retention and content experiences teams to build out a journey through emails, push notifications and on-platform communication.
